Christmas at the Train Station
December 8th
We invite you to join us at the Bristol Train Station on December 8th to celebrate the Christmas season. Our scenic and historic station will fill you with a sense of warm nostalgia that is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit, as you create joyous memories that you and your family will cherish forever.
A variety of fun-filled activities for all ages awaits those who attend. So no matter whether you’re big or small, a joyous day awaits you all.
All aboard for Christmas at the Train Station!
Each ticket holder will be able to enjoy the following activities:
✔ Meet and get your picture taken with Santa!
The one and only Santa Claus will be stopping in to meet and take pictures with the residents of Bristol before he makes his return on Christmas Eve. Free photography services will be offered by the award winning Jared Jarvis Photography services, so you can preserve the moment when your child, or even your whole family, meets Santa himself. Each family will have their free professional quality pictures e-mailed to them within only 5 days.
✔ Ride the Miniature Christmas train!
A train station Christmas celebration wouldn’t be complete without a train ride. Adults & children alike will love taking a ride on the charming miniature trackless Christmas train
✔ Meet the Ice Princesses!
We brought in the coolest princesses in all the land for our Christmas celebration. Getting to meet & mingle with their favorite princesses is sure to make this a Christmas your own little prince & princess will be sure to remember.
✔ Write a letter to Santa.
Children will be able to write a letter to Santa to remind him how good they’ve been all year and what they want for Christmas. Express delivery to the North Pole is free of charge!
✔ Make your own Christmas crafts.
Children and adults will both enjoy creating the perfect crafts for Christmas. Show off your Christmas spirit in style by designing your very own jingle-bell necklace, or create a unique custom-made ornament. We will also be making reindeer food you can put out to make sure Santa’s reindeer have something to snack on when they get hungry during their trip around the globe.
✔ Revisit the past by ringing our historic train bell.
Traditionally bells are rung near Christmas to announce the arrival of the season. Now you’ll get to enjoy the unique opportunity to announce to Bristol that the holiday season is upon us. Ring in the Christmas season with same magnificent bell that passengers would have heard as trains entered the station over 100 years ago!
✔ Vote for the Winner of the Gingerbread House Building Contest.
You get to view and help decide which of our gingerbread houses will be declared the finest in all of Bristol. The winner will be determined by a public vote, with the winner taking home $75, 2nd place collecting $50, while 3rd place receives $25.Contest Rules
✔ Snacks for Everyone!
Enjoy the perfect Christmas Snack. Delicious cookies and hot chocolate will be available for both children and adults.
CHECK-IN TIME:
Each Group Tour May Last Up To One Hour
We ask that you please arrive at the proper check-in time for your respective group. Our check-in time system is in place to ensure that both wait times and lines are kept to an absolute minimum, and to make sure each guest has a smooth & fun-filled experience.
After checking in, you will begin the Christmas tour with your group. It will take approximately one hour for each group to enjoy the activities we have in store for you. Although you will only be able to participate in each activity once in order make time for others, everyone will be given plenty of time to complete activities, such as making crafts and enjoying their snacks.
Each group of children under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by at least one adult. To ensure this policy is met, at least one adult ticket must be included in the transaction with each purchase of children’s tickets.
